So recently about last week or so I picked up the manga Psyren on Amazon for a pretty good price and thought it sounded interesting and I was pretty surprised actually, because it really was good. I remember vaguely reading it at one point but I didn't exactly remember what happened so I thought, why not I'll just buy it. I mean of course, you could read it online... But that's not really the same as reading it while physically having the book.
Anyways, the manga is basically about a guy, who by the way is essentially a delinquent (yeah obviously not a generic "bad boy character" type) gets a weird card. Now what is this card you may ask? Well, the card is something that takes him to a world, a secret and dark world rumored to be an "eden". Now he doesn't exactly know this at first, but when he receives the card he ponders on what it is for. Going through the novel, some mysteries begin to unravel and we see what the card really is, the card is a gate to the world of Psyren! What lies in wait for him there? What will become of him? Will he survive?
I think I'll just stop it there for now, since I haven't exactly finished the first volume yet and I've ordered two more to come in the mail some time this week. I hope you try to pick it up too and maybe enjoy it with me. I'd like some people to discuss with!

Yoshina Ageha is a high school student who offers to help people with their problems for 10,000 yen. He'll take care of your stalkers, find your lost animal, whatever you want. One day when he's heading home, a nearby pay phone rings, and he picks it up. The only thing he hears however is his own voice echoing. After finding a mysterious card with the word 'Psyren' printed on it, his life suddenly changes as he is drawn into a crazy new world.
